Make Delicious Gulab Jamun with Kitchen Pal


Ingredient:

  • 1 cup milk powder

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tbsp ghee or melted butter

  • 2-3 tbsp milk, as needed

  • Oil or ghee for frying

  • 1 ½ cups sugar

  • 1 ½ cups water

  • 3-4 green cardamom pods

  • 1 tsp rose water

Instructions:

  5. In a deep pan or kadhai, heat oil or ghee over medium heat.

  6. Divide the dough into equal-sized portions and roll them into smooth balls.

  7. Fry the balls in hot oil or ghee until they turn golden brown.

  8. In a separate pot, prepare the sugar syrup by combining sugar, water, and cardamom pods. Bring it to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.

  9. Add the rose water to the syrup and stir well.

  10. Add the fried Gulab Jamun to the syrup and let them soak for at least 1 hour.
