Instructions:
Rinse the sushi rice in a strainer until the water runs clear. Place the rice and water in a rice cooker or pot and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In a small saucepan, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar and salt dissolve, then let cool.

Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Wet your hands and spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top edge.

Use the bamboo mat to roll the sushi tightly, starting from the bottom edge. Use the border at the top edge to seal the roll.
