Instructions:

  2. Knead the dough for several minutes until it's smooth and pliable. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

  5. Using a Maamoul mold, press each ball of dough to create an indentation in the center. Fill the indentation with chopped walnuts or pistachios and then close the dough over the filling, making sure to seal the edges.

  6. Place the Maamoul on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. Remove the Maamoul from the oven and let them cool for 5-10 minutes before dusting them with powdered sugar.

  8. Serve the Maamoul with a hot cup of tea or coffee and enjoy!
