Make Delicious Risotto with Kitchen Pal


Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of chicken broth

  • 1/4 cup of butter

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 1/2 cups of Arborio rice

  • 1/2 cup of dry white wine

  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the chicken broth until it comes to a simmer.

  2. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.

  3. Add the Arborio rice and stir to coat with the butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add the white wine and stir until absorbed.

  5. Add a ladleful of chicken broth to the rice and stir until absorbed. Continue adding broth, one ladleful at a time, stirring constantly until the rice is cooked through and the mixture is creamy.

  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
