Make delicious Bread and Butter Pudding with Kitchen Pal
Ingredients:
6 slices of white bread, crusts removed
50g butter, softened
50g sultanas (golden raisins)
2 large eggs
300ml whole milk
75g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/gas 4.
Butter each slice of bread and cut it into triangles.
Arrange the bread triangles in a buttered ovenproof dish, slightly overlapping each other.
Sprinkle the sultanas over the bread.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, caster sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread and leave to stand for 10 minutes.
Place the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
Serve hot or cold with custard, cream, or ice cream.
